Septic Tank 5B
Chemtech’s Histosol and Microbe products are the industry-leading odor control, bioaugmentation, solids degradation, and corrosion prevention solutions. For over 20 years, we are the trusted and preferred supplier for a wide range of industries worldwide, including food processing, wastewater treatment, paper and pulp, refinery, and agriculture.
Safe, Natural Product
Histosol is a safe, natural product derived from organic matter consisting of natural soil constituents, including humate salts, humic acids, lignin matter and extractions of highly humified organic matters – powerful components that capture odorous compounds and interrupt their corrosive reactions, and enhance biological activities for solids degradation, reducing Total suspended solids (TSS) and Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) levels. Septic System 5B
A ready-to-use, stabilized, bacterial spore concentrate, designed to biologically digest and deodorize organic wastes.
Advantages
Chemtech’s biologically active formula includes an odor neutralizing fragrance, biodegradable surfactant and a proprietary stabilization system that will break down organic waste naturally and effectively. This product is fully formulated, simply place in a toilet tank and the bacteria are released with every flush – it’s that easy!
Scientifically selected bacterial cultures are selected for optimum enzyme production, assuring efficient breakdown of proteins, carbohydrates, cellulose and fats in organic wastes generated in a household or commercial septic tank system. Chemtech’s non-engineered cultures rapidly digest odor causing organic wastes. Odors aren’t just covered up; they are eliminated at the source! Bacteria are stabilized and shipped in spore form, ensuring long-term stability and extended shelf life.

Understanding Wastewater Microbes: How Microbes Assist With Wastewater Treatment
Wastewater odor control and chemical treatments are crucial for any facility or plant handling waste and producing effluent. But what exactly are these wastewater microbes, and how do they work in the process of water treatment? Read on as we explore this in more detail.
Preliminary Treatment of Wastewater
Wastewater is an important consideration for facility managers right across the USA. Management teams need to be able to ensure the quality of the effluent they leave behind, protecting public and environmental safety. So where does the preliminary treatment of wastewater fit into the process?
